作家コメント：

この絵は実は逆さまにして、女の子がいる月側を上に入れ換えても飾れます。ですので、お部屋の雰囲気に合わせてディスプレイをお楽しみ頂けます。昼と夜を行ったり来たりできたら楽しいだろうな。と、思ったので制作しました。支持体の和紙の上に雲母が混ぜてある絵の具を何度も塗り重ねているので、滲み出るような光沢が特徴です。

Artist's comment:

This art can actually be displayed upside down, even if the moon side with the girl is swapped up.  Therefore, you can enjoy the display according to the atmosphere of the room.  It would be fun to go back and forth between day and night. I thought so, so I made it.

The paint that is mixed with mica is applied over the Washi paper, which is a support, so that it has a glossy appearance.

女の子が糸電話で話し掛けている相手は「お化け」です。

「お化け」というと怖いイメージがありますが日本には「勿怪の幸い」という言葉があります。

「勿怪の幸い」とは「意外な幸運」や「思いがけない幸せ」という意味があるそうです。

私は部屋に飾った時に和む絵を描きたいと思っているので「お化け」もチャーミングに描きました。

背景には金箔をランダムに貼っているので、見る角度によってキラキラとした輝きをお楽しみ頂けます。

この絵を飾って下さった方に「思いがけない幸せ」が訪れるように願いを込めております。 

Artist's comment:

The person the girl talks to on the thread phone is a "ghost."

There is a scary image when you say "ghost", but in Japan, there is the word "Mokke no saiwai."

It means "unexpected good luck" and "unexpected happiness".

Since I want to draw a painting that make you smile when it is decorated the room, I also draw a "ghost" charmingly.

Gold foil is randomly attached to the background, so you can enjoy a sparkle depending on the viewing angle. I hope that those who decorate this picture will have "unexpected happiness".

コロナウイルスの影響で不幸なニュースが多く耳に入ってきます。

私は明けない夜は無いように、いつかきっと普通の生活が戻ってくると信じています。

そんな願いを込めて制作しました。明るい未来をイメージして中央の太陽には金箔を貼りました。

両脇の青色と黒色のカーテン部分は太めの点描で埋め尽くしているのですが、雲母が混ぜてある絵の具を使用しているのでキラキラとした光沢があるのと、点描の凹凸が光りの陰影を生み独特のマチエールをお楽しみ頂けます。

We hear many sad news because of new coronavirus.

I believe we can have normal life someday, the night is long that never finds the day

I made it with such a wish. I imaged a bright future and put gold leaf on the central sun.

The blue and black curtains on both sides are filled with thick stippling, but since the mica is used for the paint, it has a glitter and the unevenness of the stippling is a shade of light. You can enjoy it's  unique matiere.

こんな時だからこそ、見た人がクスッと笑える絵にする！と、決めて制作しました。

ドジで間抜けな泥棒とその泥棒を捕まえようと追いかける保安官の絵です。

保安官は常に泥棒のドジに振り回されています。ナンセンスとユーモアを込めました。

因みに保安官はビックリして懐中電灯を手から放しています。

In this era living with coronavirus........that's why I created the artwork that makes people smile ! 

It is a painting of a stupid thief and a sheriff chasing after trying to catch the thief. The Sheriff is constantly at the mercy of the thief's mistake.  It has nonsense and humor. By the way, the sheriff was surprised and released the flashlight from his hand.

実は私、大塚麻理恵(おおつか まりえ)は中学生の頃、新体操部に所属していました。この絵は、その当時を思い起こしながら描きました。

ただ、新体操の手具にこんなに大きなボールはありません(笑)  今回、画面に強弱を付けたかったので、一番大きなボールの部分と真ん中の三角の部分と縁取っている点描を、それぞれ太さの違う筆を使い分けて描きました。

Artist's comment:

Actually, I　belonged to the Rhythmic Gymnastics Club when I was in junior high school. I drew this picture while recalling those days.　

However, there is no such a big ball in rhythmic gymnastics (lol)

This time, I wanted to add strength to the screen, so I drew the largest ball part and the triangle part in the middle and the pointillism that is bordered respectively. I used different brushes.
